Precious Oysters is committed to sustainability, from beginning to end. We ensure ocean-friendly practices from the “tides” that bring us our delicious oysters to the moment they hit your “table.” We only source from companies that are committed to ocean-friendly farming techniques, we have a zero-tolerance policy for plastic flatware and supplies, and we return all of our shells to the ocean, ensuring the regeneration of oyster beds.
Yes, we do offer traditional raw bar services (ice display, selection of seafood, and on-site shucking), but we go the next step by providing a shucker for any kind of event, big or small. They bring their own shucking tools and will work quickly behind-the-scenes to give your guests their fill of the freshest oysters.

We’re based in southwestern Connecticut, allowing us to reach not only our own home grounds but also much of the tri-state area.
Part of our service includes removing empty oyster shells from the premises. No one likes a stinky pile of shells - except an oyster farmer! Returning shells to the water helps regrow oyster beds and ensures the sustainability and longevity of an oyster farm. Learn more about shell recycling.
